What touch aversion feels like

autasticanna:

Have you ever had a bug land on your face unexpectedly

And in a panic you flick it off because having a bug on your face is the worst feeling ever

But even after it’s gone you can still feel it there and it’s just the worst

For me, that’s what touch aversion feels like. It’s not pain, it’s closer to absolute discomfort that feels awful and horrific and invasive and then lingers for like fifteen minutes afterward

For me it’s not like I don’t want to be touched either. I want to cuddle and hug and kiss. But sometimes physical contrast is the worst thing.

I dont hate you.
