Get into the habit of asking ‘do you need to stim?’ When we are in difficult situations.
If you’re child goes to school especially, they may suppress their stims because of teachers or because they don’t want to seem out of place among their peers.
It would be awesome if we can get in the habit or helping/encouraging autistic people to stim when they need to.

THIS DOG IS NOT A PITBULL!!
Elliot is an American Bulldog, a bully breed developed around the 40s-50s by Alan Scott and John D. Johnson.
They were bred for Hog hunting but are used for numerous different jobs. Typically bigger than pits they get anywhere from 60-100lbs and come in three types (standard, Hybrid, and Bully). There are two original bloodlines called Scott and Johnson.
Scott preferred his dogs leaner with longer muzzles while Johnson preferred the bulkier dogs with shorter noses.
American Bulldogs come in a variety of colors but always have some amount of white. Less than 10% white is a serious fault in the breed.
They can be stubborn, dog aggressive, and weary of strangers but it’s kind of a trademark for the breed to be extremely goofy and social these days. Elliot’s mother hit my like a ton of bricks when I met her without even taking a minute to check me out first.
They are a very active breed though are not as active as pits, but the standard types are a lot more athletically inclined than the bully types and tend to be on the healthier side when it comes to bulldogs.

All I’m saying is, be as little more critical with what random dogs you call a pitbull…and tag as a pitbull. I mean it literally says American bulldog in my url. Just because it’s a bully looking dog, does not mean it’s a pitbull…there are lots of bully breeds out there, folks.
I mean, I’ve had some people argue with me about her breed for goodness sake.
