The FCC have already disregarded millions of emails in suspect of sent by fake bot accounts. If you want to fight, you need to call or message the FCC and your
Senators
yourself!

Look up and contact your Senators and inform them why you don’t want Net Neutrality repealed.
And to anyone OUTSIDE the US, Tell your US friends and followers to fight this, but DON’T get involved yourself! They won’t listen to anyone who’s not a US citizen.
We have until DECEMBER 14TH, 2017 before the final vote goes through!
Sorry this isn’t Overwatch but this needs to not happen
handy dandy list of arguments to use for not repealing net neutrality
i’ve seen a lot of points come up so i decided to put them all in one post
- Aspiring content creators will have difficulty in gaining an audience.
- Current content creators will lose their audience and publicity.
- Applying for jobs will be harder, as most places no longer have paper applications.
- Students will lose the ability to do academic work, apply for colleges, find tutoring sites, look for apartments, etc.
- Online transactions (including buying tickets for concerts, buying plane tickets, ordering food, clothes shopping, and subscribing to Netflix) will be inconvenient.
- The right to the internet was declared a human right by the United Nations in 2003, as it is a freedom of expression.
- Corporations will have the power to manipulate how people use the internet.
- The internet is a crucial source of political expression. ISPs favoring websites over others stifles people’s opinions, violating the First Amendment. The First Amendment states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances”.
- ISPs will be allowed to censor any “controversial” topics that they so choose.
- It will be difficult for people with similar viewpoints and interests to connect with each other.
- Research requiring online resources will be limited.
- Any public services that require internet— like schools, hospital, libraries, and government centers— will need to spend more money, thus increasing taxes.
- In his message to Congress on curbing monopolies, President Franklin Roosevelt has stated, “The first truth is that the liberty of a democracy is not safe if the people tolerate the growth of private power to a point where it becomes stronger than their democratic state itself. That, in its essence, is Fascism—ownership of Government by an individual, by a group, or by any other controlling private power.” In this case, the “controlling private powers” are corporations.
- Thousands of people will lose their jobs. Websites will be forced to fire employees to keep themselves up and running.
(people under the cut made the original posts where i got shit from, i’m really sorry if i miss anyone)
Reblog if you think guys with acne, eczema, moles, skin tags, and other skin conditions can still be cute
I’m having a rough time since my skin is just….not being nice to me, and I just need some positivity.
Net Neutrality is being censored on Tumblr because it is owned by Yahoo, which is owned by Verizon, and Verizon is spearheading the campaign against net neutrality
Now you know! So you can better resist this bullshit!
Hey what the fuck happened to all the net neutrality coverage
This shit is still happening people, and all of the sudden its disappeared from my dash almost entirely over night
I don’t know why, but I think people are automatically being unfollowed from the Net Neutrality tag. It happens to me every time I try to follow it. I’ll follow the tag, come back 20 minutes later & I’ll for some reason have unfollowed the tag automatically. I think this may be happening to a majority of people in an attempt to silence the resistance. Please take a screen shot of this post in case it gets deleted.
hey yeah can yall reblog this cause this is very important. Tumblr is ACTIVELY trying to silence out outrage at this by making us incapable of seeing coverage of events. We’re all gonna have to come together and step up about this.
Every little note counts, spread the word, dont give in so easily
I just checked this and i can CONFIRM that tumblr AUTOMATICALLY MAKES YOU UNFOLLOW THE NET NEUTRALITY TAGS AFTER 20 MINUTES
Please spread the word! Screen shot this post just in case it gets deleted!!
There is a reason that happens. Tumblr is OWNED by Verizon who is a leader in throwing money at getting rid of Net Neutrality. They have spent literally millions to bring it down so that they can charge you more, slow down your internet and block you from sites they do not deem appropriate. Keep sending in letters, emails and making phone calls. IF you post about it ADD links for FS!

Sensory Overload
What is Sensory Overload?
Sensory overload occurs when one or more of the bodies senses experiences over simulation. For a simpler explanation, let me give you an example: Walking through a crowd gives me sensory overload because of the very loud noises and people coming too close to me. This overwhelmes my brain and sends me into a panick state. The way my body reacts to this is by having a meltdown (crying, screaming, shaking and sometimes even becoming violent).
Sensory overload can also occur from other things such as being given too much information too quickly for your brain to process. Being in any environment that’s new or just one that your not comfortable in. Seeing flashing lights or bright lights. Hearing triggering noises like scratching, knocking, loud bangs or screeching and many more.
I experience sensory overload from the following things: Loud noises, contact (hugs, hand shakes), certain foods like basil or other vegetables, ripped things like ripped jeans or ripped seats, people pulling on my hair or even just touching my hair, irritating/itchy clothes, very bright lights and being given too much information at one time.
daily friendly reminder to slow blink at your cat to let them know you love them
Phew! I almost forgot that petting cats is so much more important than working. Good looking out, Thomas. (Sound up for Siamese life.) 😼
